If you're visiting Vegas or even a Vegas local and looking for a piece of true Vegas history, make sure you check out Peppermill. One of the last standing spots that truly embodies the old school Vegas vibes.

It's definitely located in a weird spot hidden in plain sight almost. I really can't even begin to say how many times I've passed down Las Vegas Blvd. and passed this joint. I know for sure I won't be passing it anymore.

When you walk in, you can walk to two different sides. If you're feeling a cool, relaxed vibe, I recommend you go left. If you're looking for a casual dining atmosphere, take a right. The left has a really interesting sunken in bar/lounge area, complete with some indoor fire pits. We didn't sit on this side, but we walked over so I could take it in. It was definitely worth the glance, filled with some peculiar looking people.

We opted for the more restaurant vibe side. We were seated immediately, and our waitress was great and attentive. The menu boasts ridiculously large drinks that scream Vegas. I can't recall the name of my drink, but it was massive and definitely delicious. It made me feel like I was on vacation. For late night dinner, I ordered the sampler, which you really can't go wrong with. It has shrimp tempura, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, onion rings, etc. It was the perfect "sample" of fried foods that I desperately needed that late at night.

Thank you, Peppermill for staying so true to your roots and Vegas history. Definitely will be returning, as I'm pretty sure I even saw David Copperfield there! Who knows who you will run into at the Peppermill...

When's the last time y'all had curly fries? Peppermill has potatoes several ways (my kind of place) but come on, you have to get the curly fries.

Pair those 'taters with a lemon drop and a club sandwich and it's all I need for a late night bite. Maybe a slice of cheesecake, but not this time around.

And please make sure to tip your servers because they're working around the clock to serve night owls and drunkards. Give 'em a break!

This is a must stop in before you leave Vegas during your stay. The breakfast, simple and to the point. Large portions, so come hungry. Great service, so be prepared to know what you want or not. And make sure you definitely stop into the Fireside lounge for a cocktail or just to sit in the step down living room and watch the fire. Bloody mary's spicy and delicious.

Fav breakfast meal: Chicken fried steak
Fav breakfast item: Lemon-Cranberry muffin pipping hot w/butter

Waw just waw. This place is an icon and a visit was long over due! I love everything about this spot, it screams Vegas! The interior is just fabulous. I came here with my girlfriend middle of the night and it was quiet yet not empty. The food came out pretty fast and was delicious. I had the chicken pesto sandwich with curly fries and it was so good. Also I can eat from it tomorrow still, enormous portion! My friend had the French toast, same: big portion. Great service and staff. Happy I finally got to visit this iconic location.

5 beaming stars. Are u kidding me? Ive been wasting money eating breakfast at my hotel everytime im in town. Not anymore! This is what we all really want.. a real "pancake house" style greasy spoon breakfast that never closes. Go here.. dont be afraid. Take a taxi. There will be plenty of taxis to take u back to your hotel or just walk across the street to circus circus and catch one.
Menu is filled with so many breakfast staples
Let me tell you.. the portions are huge. I dont think ive ever seen an omelette so huge or a breakfast skilled so big. Lots of stuff going for it. They have alcohol too. This is where you really want to eat. TIP: sit at the counter if you can. There is no wait.. just sit down. My husband and i ate for $40. Hotel is usually around $80. Youre welcome.
